Job Title:Automotive Service ManagerLocation:Montgomery CountyJob Overview:As a Service Manager with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person our guests see every time they invest in their vehicle. For these reasons, you play a key role in building relationships with our guests. Our Service Managers guide our guests through the entire repair process, keep them informed of their vehicle's status, and ensure their satisfaction before they leave our facility.The Service Manager is responsible for, and has authority over, all aspects of the business's daily operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales activities, staff management, quality of work, guest satisfaction, revenue, profit margin, and other documented goals as assigned by the Owner. All office and shop personnel report directly to the Service Manager.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Sales & Revenue Generation: Actively sell automotive services, build customer estimates, and drive store revenue and profit targets.
Manage office and shop personnel and daily operationsFollow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the current Employee HandbookTake necessary corrective and/or disciplinary action for employee non-complianceEnsure quality of work, attitude, and performance meet or exceed guest satisfaction goalsDevelop estimates and work ordersDirect Service Writers' development of our guest estimates and work orders and assign work orders to the techniciansEnsure selection of quality partsEnsure target margins are achievedOpen and close stores on a daily basisPerform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, audits, and report analysis. Report results to Franchise Owners and/or OperatorsEnsure all equipment is fully operational and in good working order.Ensure technicians have the resources needed to do their jobServe as the primary communications interface to the guests, before, during, and after servicePresent the best solution to properly repair our customer’s vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understandPossess the ability to consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrityAct in a professional manner suitable to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting the characteristics of honesty and integrityOther duties as assigned at the discretion of the Owner
